An aquarium heater in your fish tank will help maintain a steady temperature for your tropical fish. As a guide, to heat your aquarium upto 10°c above the room temperature, you will need 1 watt of power per 1 litre of aquarium water. If the calculated wattage is boarderline, select a higher rated heater. Install heater at least 24 hours before adding fish. It is advised that a spare heater is purchased in case of emergencies.
