Returns Policy
Unwanted Goods: If you wish to cancel your order within 30 days of receipt of your products please contact us at sales@discountleisureproducts.co.uk providing details of the product(s) to be returned, reason for return and the original order number. A Returns Number and instructions for the return of products will be e-mailed to you.
The cost of returning unwanted products will be at the customer's expense.
The products being returned must be securely packed to avoid damage. We recommend returning the products pre-paid by recorded delivery using Royal Mail or courier.
A credit refund will only be given for the product(s), less the original cost of post and packaging, provided the product(s) is unused, in stock condition and is in its original packaging. Otherwise product(s) will be returned to you at your expense. Our returns policy conforms to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulation 2000 (SI 2334/2000).
If you decide that you no longer require the product(s) there will be a restocking/administration charge upto 50% of the product(s) prices with a minimum £20 charge.
Return of goods after 30 days is at our own discretion.
Faulty Products: Faulty products that carry a manufacturer's guarantee can be returned to us for exchange/repair during the warranty period. All products still in guarantee will be tested upon return and if found to be in working order will be returned to you at your expense. The product warranty certificate, proof of purchase and nature of fault must accompany the returned goods.
The cost of returning a product(s) under warranty will be at the customer's expense. The cost of sending the repaired/replacement item will be at Discount Leisure Products expense.
Products that have been damaged by misuse or neglect, however caused, will not be exchanged and customers will have the options of paying the return postage to have the product(s) returned or of requesting us to dispose of the product(s) on their behalf. Where instructions have not been received within 14 days of our requesting instructions from the customer, the product(s) will be disposed of on the customer's behalf.
Proof of Delivery: Unless proof of delivery or a carrier receipt, signed on behalf of Discount Leisure Products, is supplied, Discount Leisure Products does not accept responsibility for product(s) returned by a customer where we are unable to trace receipt.
Returns Exceptions:
Intex returns - With regards to Intex pools, if there is a fault with a pool liner or other Intex product, which renders the item inoperable please contact us, indicating the nature of the fault. We will either send you a replacement or ask you to contact the Intex Help Line. Intex will advise you as to the action to be taken.
Should you experience any difficulties please let us know as quickly as possible so that we may progress the matter on your behalf. Please note that faults with inflatable items must be notified to us no later than 7 days after the day of delivery.
Special Orders/Products:
Products that are specially made/ordered or are perishables i.e. magazines, pond liners, plants, stainless steel products, videos, books etc. cannot be returned for refund unless faulty/damaged.
Bulky products e.g. Plastica wooden pools, large Intex pools, pond filters etc. must not be returned to us without our prior agreement as the product(s) may need to be returned direct to the manufacturer.
Goods are not allowed to be tried/tested.
This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights. |
