How to Test

Test Strips are the easiest way to test you pool or spa water as there is no need to measure out liquids or drops.
Simply dip the test strip into your pool or spa water for a few seconds, remove from the water and wait 15 seconds. Compare the pad to the colour chart on the back of the bottle.

Keeping your water clear and inviting requires a small amount of time for regular testing of both pH and sanatiser levels.

• Ideally in a domestic situation both Bromine and pH levels should be checked on a daily basis.
• However, as a minimum, checking twice a week is acceptable. If the pool or spa usage is high more regular testing is recommended.
• Tests on either pool or spa can be quickly carried out with our test kits.
• Simply dip the strip into the water, let it soak for a few seconds and then compare the colours produced against the colour standards printed on the container.
• Test kits check bromine, pH, cyanuric acid and Total Alkalinity.
• Adjust pH levels in small amounts rather than in one large dose because the pH can, on occassions (especially when Total Alkalinity is low) swing quite rapidly.
