How it Works
Water enter the filter via the inlet on the 30 Watt UV, through the uv and into the spray bar where the water is spread accros the filter media. The water then passes down through the various stages of filtration media(6 Stages). After water passes through the final biological stage, it makes it way up the return pipes and back into the pond.
Maintenance
The Mega Max filter comes complete with a waste drain and ball valve for flushing the dirt out from the filter box. To clean the foam simply take some rain water or pond water and clean the thick debris from the foams, this ensures you are keeping the good filter bacteria alive and in the filter system. The spray bar also has a maintenance point to remove and large solids that the pump may suck up.
