This double sided pond liner repair tape is ideal for making repairs to pond liners, sticking down folds in liners and can even be used when creating waterfalls and streams. This 50mm wide tape is easy to use and is sold per metre.
How to repair a pond liner
Let the water level drop in the pond and when it stops work your way around the water line to locate the hole. You may wish to move any livestock, plants etc to a temporary holding tank during the repair if the water level gets to low. Remember that we strongly recommend running your filter system and the temporary fish holding tank to help prevent any water quality issues.
Once you have found the hole, clean and dry the area to be repaired. If the hole is large then you may wish to use a sealant and liner patch instead such as the Gold Label Sealants. If the hole is small enough then cut the desired length of tape and stick over the hole, it is best to repair the pond liner in warmer weather as the liner and repair tape are more pliable. Cut a small piece of pond liner out to stick to the other side of the tape to complete the repair.
If you are building a stream or waterfall then you can use the pond liner repair tape to join and fix together a length of pond liner.
