Metal chimeneas will rust, how much depends on whether they are left outside in all weathers, how much they are used and how they are cared for. The chimenea can be repainted, rust will not affect use.
These chimeneas can become very hot when in use and will burn the skin if touched, we recommend the use of a chimenea guard when small children are present.
