Hozelock Ecopower 10000 UVC Pond Filter Box

The Ecopower pond filter is a high efficiency fish pond filter and integrated UV clarifier

This upgraded model of Ecopower features a powerful 8w UV lamp, filter pad and K3 biological media for all round filtration. The UV will clumps tiny algae that causes green water together allowing the foam pad to filter them out. The final stage of filtration is biological, where the good bacteria that will grow on the K3 media will remove toxins from the water leaving your water clear and clean.

Ecopower Filter Box Process

1. Firstly water enters the filter through a stepped hose tail at the top of the box, this hose tail will accept pipe sizes 20/25/32 & 40mm flexible hoses.
   
2. Water then passes through the UVC which also features a 'turbulator' to help spin the water around the UV lamp in a more efficient way.
3. Water then enters the box via a venturi which add beneficial oxygen to the water. Passing through the foam filter & K3 biological media.
4. Water then rises and returns to the pond via the 32mm outlet
