UVC Clarifier's are used to eliminate green water algae in fish ponds, the UV rays emitted by the lamp destroy the single cell algae that causes the green water.
The Arcadia ultra clear UVC fish pond UV bulb is suitable for use in both aquarium and pond UV clarifier's. Discount Leisure Products recommend replacing the lamp every 6 to 12 months to maintain optimum performance of your clarifier
These lamp are not suitable as a aquarium display light as the UV rays emitted will harm your eyes.
