Satus Contains the innovative ‘Satus organism’ capable of rapidly removing ammonia without relying on the traditional, slower nitrifying cycle. Working under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions,  ‘Satus organism’ can also degrade organic compounds which bacteria cannot. It has a higher metabolic rate that provides faster breakdown of organic wastes to prevent them building up in the aquarium.  Satus also contains a concentrated unique blend of heterotrophic and autotrophic organisms, including aerobic and anaerobic nitrifying bacteria that rapidly remove harmful ammonia and nitrite by converting them into nitrates
