Chlorine is harmful to fish and all fishkeepers are aware of the need to remove chlorine and other impurities from tap water. Without treatment, chlorine in tap water will affect the growth of benificial filter bacteria andf can cause fish health problems. Chemical de-chlorinators are generally used to break down chlorines in tap water, however this can be costly and required accurate measurement of the treatment to be added. The De Tox de-chlorinator from Evolution Aqua is an inline de-chlorinator that coonects using standard hose fittings to your hose. It will then remove chlorines and toxins from the tap water as it passes through its carbon filter. -The FC-12 Dex Tox 12" Dechlorinator treats up to 150,000 litres of water(33,000 gallons) -Max flow rate 4.5 litres per minute(1 gallon)
