Product Description
Pure Pond are biodegradable ball covered in live bacteria. With over 8,000,000,000 bacteria per litre of Pure Pond, your pond will shine even more than normal. Perfect for use with the Kaldness moving bed in the Nexus filters but will work equally well in multi bay filters, box filters, bead filters, pressure filters etc.
Once added to your fish pond filter system the Pure Pond start to work by smoothing out and peaks in the ammonia/nitrite cycle to prevent water quality issues. A UV light in a pond helps to combat unsightly green water algae. We recommend replacing your fish pond uv bulb every 6- 12 months to maintain optimium performance.
TIP: Change your lamp at the beginning of every pond season(March to April) to ensure the bulb is at full strength during the warmer sunnier months.

The Jebao 12000 box filter is a multi chamber style black box filter with a built-in UV light in the lid of the filter. This filter comes complete with 3 coarse grade filter foams and plastic biological filter media.

How It Works
Water enters the filter box via the lid, passing through the UV light and down on to the coarse foam block in the first chamber. Water then works through the foam block and down into the biological media. From the bottom of first chamber, the water enters the middle chamber which helps to settle out larger solids. Water then works up through the middle chamber of biological media and through another coarse foam block and over the top into the final chamber. Water passes through a final foam block and media and out back into the pond via the outlet pipe. A waste drain on the bottom of the filter box allows the box to be easily drained to remove solids and for maintenance.
