Product Description
Pure Pond are biodegradable ball covered in live bacteria. With over 8,000,000,000 bacteria per litre of Pure Pond, your pond will shine even more than normal. Perfect for use with the Kaldness moving bed in the Nexus filters but will work equally well in multi bay filters, box filters, bead filters, pressure filters etc.
Once added to your fish pond filter system the Pure Pond start to work by smoothing out and peaks in the ammonia/nitrite cycle to prevent water quality issues. 1.5 inch solvent weld inlet (43mm OD) with a 1.5 inch glue in hosetail to allow connection to flexible hose
3 inch solvent weld outlet (83mm OD) for the return of water to the pond
Inlet features a spray diffuser which is easily removable for cleaning purposes, a debris bag is also included to collect larger solids.
There is a blanked off mounting point should you wish to connect a UV (optional extra)

Installtion of the pond filter box
Position the filter on a level surface with the outlet positioned above the pond level making sure the outlet runs down to the pond. The unit can be partially buried if desired. If this is done then with the UV option, the UV section must be clear of the ground to avoid it become submerged in water from any potential flooding.
The inlet diffuser is removeable not only for cleaning purposes but also for removal if you wish to use the debris bag instead of the diffuser on the inlet.
The carbon sheet supplied has an active lifesapn of 6-12 month depending of the number of fish in the pond
