The Arcadia 8 watt Ultra Clear UVC lamp for fish ponds is a universal tube that will fit many makes and models of UV clarifier including Hozelock, Tropical Marine Centre, Kockney Koi Yamitsu and many more.
Green water is caused by millions of microscopic algae particle suspended in the pond water, causing a nightmare for many pond keepers. A UVC or Ultra Violet Clarifier is the best way to combat green water algae and keep your pond clear. When the right sizes UV is installed to a pond, along with the correct sized pump and filter system you should achieve clear water quickly.
Over time a UV lamps output will deteriorate and will need replacing, we recommend changing the lamp at least once per year to maintain optimum performance.
