The Pondomatic vacuum from Pontec is a great bit of kit to have for general maintenance of the fish pond. Easily remove fine debris, pond sludge and other waste matter with this powerful vac. The Pondomatic feature an automatic emptying feature which will cut the unit off and allow draining to waste to start, after emptying the van will restart and you can carry on cleaning the pond.
The Pondomatic is suitable for both ponds and pool with its 1400 watt motor and automatic switching between suction and emptying. Nozzles included with the pond cleaner include a crevice nozzle for the harder to reach areas and liner folds etc. The algae nozzle and the universal nozzle with a adjustable slot between 2mm to 10mm.
Use and installation of the Pondomatic Vacuum.
Place the unit above the pond water level and at least 2m from the pond edge
Place the vacuum on level ground to ensure it will not tip over
Attach the pond drain hose tot he base of the vac and route the hose with an incline to the water water discharge area
Attach the suction hose, extension tubes and desired nozzle.
Turn the unit on and proceed to vacuum the pond or pool. Move the nozzle slowly to avoid stirring up the sediment
Once the unit cuts out automatically the drain mode lasts around 25 seconds before automatically switching to suction again.
