The Hozelock Aquaforce 1000 pond filter pump is the first size in the range of powerful filter & waterfall pumps. The energy efficient motor is built using ceramic bearings and features a water cooling system to make it highly reliable, just what you need when using this as a filter pump.

The Aquaforce pumps have a big casing with a large surface area to maximise the waste it can collect, this also means the pump is less likely to clog and will reduce the time spent cleaning the pump. When it does need cleaning the case comes apart quickly and easily by un-clipping the 2 front clips. 

Also included with this pump is a wildlife protection insert which reduces the inlet size of the casing to just 2mm which help protect small pond wildlife, ideal for use during the spawning season or to protect newts, tadpole and small frogs etc from being sucked in to the pump.
