The Velda heron stop reflector helps to provide extra protection from predators in two ways;
The image of birds of prey eyes on the ball
Reflective glittering of the ball with its mirror like surface
Herons will be frightened away by these effects and do not dare to approach the pond any more. The design is pleasing on the eye and are also the enemy for herons and pigeons!
The Velda Heron stop reflector simply floats on your pond and acts as a deterrent
You can also hand these balls outside of the pond or have more flaoting on the pond surface should you have a large water surface area.
