Plunger Valve to isolate the pool from the filtration
This genuine Intex part is suitable for the larger inlet and outlet connection on Intex branded pools. The threaded collar connection is 60mm diameter with the connection underneath also having a 60mm connection point but will also accept 32mm Intex hose directly.
For reference the Intex sand filters and larger cartridge filter pump come with the hoses with the 60mm connections.
Plunger valves are great for isolating the pool from the filter system for cleaning and maintenance such as sand changes or filter cartridge cleaning. When back washing sand filters they can also help reduce any sand blowing into the pool.
