When using an electric pump, you simply need to locate the valve, insert the pump nozzle and switch it on. When using a hand pump, you need to locate the control dial valve, turn the control dial clockwise until the arrow points to the inflation mark and pump until the mattress has reached the desired firmness.

To deflate an Intex air mattress, locate the same valve you used to inflate it, open it and gently press on the airbed to squeeze out the air. If you decide to use a pump, ensure it’s set to deflate and use it to suck the air out.
